Justice & Social Inquiry administers several different scholarships for full-time undergraduate students majoring or minoring in Justice Studies in the School of Social Transformation:

• Justice Studies Book Scholarship
• Lionel E. Rombach Scholarship
• Norton-Ramsey Undergraduate Research Scholarship in Justice Studies
• Norton Grant for Women's Studies in Justice Studies Scholarship
• Susan Marie Schmidt Memorial Award for Outstanding Undergraduate Achievement
• Mary E. Jones Brayboy Memorial Scholarship
• David Wayne Isom Scholarship
• Arizona Constables State Association Scholarship
• Russell L Duncan Memorial Scholarship
•. Gray Cavender Undergraduate Justice Studies Scholarship

Scholarship applicants will be considered for all awards for which they are eligible.

First Generation Justice Studies Alumni Scholarship
• For full-¬time Justice Studies undergraduate majors who are first-¬generation college students
• Other eligibility criteria: Arizona resident; min. 2.5 cumulative GPA

Justice Studies Book Scholarship
• For full-time Justice Studies undergraduate majors

Lionel E. Rombach Scholarship
• For full-¬time Justice Studies undergraduate majors
• Other eligibility criteria: evidence of academic excellence and professional promise in the field of justice studies

Norton-Ramsey Undergraduate Research Scholarship in Justice Studies
• For Justice Studies undergraduate majors or minors doing research on social justice issues
• Other eligibility criteria: good academic standing; involved in undergraduate research (must enroll in fall 2021 in JUS 492, JUS 493 or JUS 498)

Norton Grant for Women's Studies in Justice Studies Scholarship
• For full-time Justice Studies undergraduate majors or minors
• Other eligibility criteria: good academic standing; demonstrated interest in women in Justice Studies through prior coursework; articulated leadership career goals in the area of justice

Susan Marie Schmidt Memorial Award for Outstanding Undergraduate Achievement
• For full¬-time Justice Studies undergraduate majors
• Other eligibility criteria: good academic standing; preference is given to students who are involved in helping youth

Mary E. Jones Brayboy Memorial Scholarship
• For Native American students who are full-time Justice Studies undergraduate majors
• Other eligibility criteria: preference is given to students showing an interest in issues facing Indigenous women

David Wayne Isom Scholarship
• For full¬-time Justice Studies undergraduate majors
• Other eligibility criteria: good academic standing; Arizona resident and U.S. citizen by birth; with a career goal in law enforcement in Arizona

Arizona Constables State Association Scholarship
• For full-¬time Justice Studies undergraduate majors with junior status
• Other eligibility criteria: Arizona resident; min. 2.5 cumulative GPA; evidence of community service and a justice-¬related career goal

Russell L Duncan Memorial Scholarship
• For full¬-time Justice Studies undergraduate majors with junior status
• Other eligibility criteria: Interest in pursuing a career in law enforcement
